Success Stories

This section presents a glimpse of the projects where Airelectronics’ technology and expertise have played a key role. From advanced autopilot integration to complete UAV system customization, these examples highlight how our solutions deliver reliability, adaptability, and proven results across diverse missions.

Flyox 4.000 Kg MTOW

The Flyox UAV stands as the flagship example of Airelectronics’ technology integration. Fully equipped with our proprietary autopilot, it is capable of autonomous take-off and landing from unprepared fields, even at an impressive 4,000 kg MTOW. The system incorporates the latest advances in adaptive control, landing assistance, gain equalization according to payload weight, laser altimeters, and weight-on-wheels sensing.

LH 500 Kg MTOW

With a maximum take-off weight of 500 kg and a wing profile and wing loading comparable to that of a fighter aircraft, the LH UAV achieves outstanding autonomy. It stands as tangible proof of how Airelectronics’ technology can be seamlessly integrated into military-grade aircraft, delivering both performance and reliability in demanding defense scenarios.

ATLANTIC

The Atlantic UAV project exemplifies Airelectronics’ ability to work closely with the military and comply with their rigorous standards. Designed to execute missions at ranges of up to 200 km, the platform supports MTOW configurations of both 50 kg and 200 kg, while maintaining full autonomy. With the capability to perform take-off and landing operations from unprepared runways, Atlantic demonstrates how Airelectronics’ technology consistently delivers performance, reliability, and operational flexibility in demanding defense scenarios.

MOSQUITO

The adaptation of the U-Pilot to the Mosquito helicopter powered by a Rotax engine stands as a clear demonstration of the autopilot’s excellent performance on large flybarless rotor platforms. This integration highlights the robustness and versatility of Airelectronics’ technology, ensuring precise control, stability, and full autonomous capability even in demanding rotary-wing configurations.

Rotary-wing projects

The U-Pilot autopilot has been successfully tested and flown on a wide range of helicopters from different manufacturers, proving its reliability across all types of configurations and missions. It has demonstrated outstanding performance on both flybar and flybarless rotor systems, on platforms of varying sizes, and in diverse operational scenarios, confirming its versatility and robustness in rotary-wing applications.

TUCAN

The Tucan UAV is the militarized and professional evolution of the Skywalker platform, designed for more demanding operational requirements. It supports catapult launch, carries multiple payload configurations, and performs belly landings on unprepared surfaces, offering a rugged and versatile solution for defense and professional applications.

Shepherd

The Shepherd UAV is available in two distinct versions: a military configuration as an advanced observer and a civil configuration for bird deterrence in critical areas. Its design allows for engine-off gliding, the ability to climb using thermal currents, and highly efficient long-endurance flight, making it a versatile platform for both defense and civil applications.
